White Fragility

This week's banned book is:

According to Marshall University Libraries, an English teacher at Choctaw High School in Florida assigned this book to her senior class students.

But when the book was taught, parents objected…

"How dare you read this book…racism is not an issue in America."

The teacher is quoted as saying, "That, to me alone, after reading the book, was more of a reason as to why we needed to read the book."

So, of course, yet again, complaints led to the removal of the book by the school board.

So, here's what we think:

Buy this book for yourself, your kids, and then for your likely racist grandparents.
