In another stunning turn of events, the reading of this book was canceled in an Ohio School District after parents were concerned that the blue and purple unicorn underneath a rainbow-colored title...
WAS TOO CONTROVERSIAL.
According to the Washington Post, the author got a call from the principal saying, "higher-ups didn't want him reading the book."
The author..." straight up asked him, 'Does somebody think I made a gay book?'"
"And he said, Yes...the concern is that you're coming with an agenda to recruit kids to become gay."
So, here's what we think:
Sometimes a unicorn is just that...
A mythical animal typically represented as a horse with a single straight horn projecting from its forehead.
Or, if you're a little more WOKE:
Something highly desirable but challenging to find or obtain...like a parent with common sense.
